How to Book Interplay

Thank you for your interest in Interplay.  Here are a few things about us That may help you in making your booking.

We’ve been working together since early 2007.   Our personnel is constant and we rehearse regularly.

Our audiences range from jazz fans at established venues to community groups and social gatherings, and we play for seated and dancing audiences.

Typically our 2-hour set includes original compositions,  some Latin or African groove-based material and a few well-known jazz tunes from Ellington to Mingus (or beyond).

Audience participation (where appropriate) is a speciality, and we find that people love to take part in something that is fun and well-managed.

Within our wide repertoire we are happy to tailor our programme to reflect your audience.  With advance notice we can even play specific requests or devise customised arrangements.

We usually supply our own high quality sound system, comprising Electrovoice microphones, Soundcraft mixing desk and Wharfedale Titan active speakers, delivering 300w clean and pleasing sound, more than ample for most clubs and social settings.  However if there is a house p.a. please let us know.

We are keen to work with promoters on marketing and publicity.  We supply photos and press releases on request and can provide poster blanks for you to overprint with your venue details.

Poster available in A5, A4

We have a CD for use in broadcasting, willingly take part in interviews and photo calls, as well as emailing our growing list of contacts and supporters.    I have many years’ experience of jazz promotion and venue management, and is happy to discuss any ideas you may have about how to make your event as successful as possible.

If you are keen to promote us then we are keen to play for you!  Our fees are competitive and open to negotiation. Once we have reached agreement we generally confirm the details using the Musicians’ Union standard contract (or equivalent).

Do you need any more information or want to talk?  Please ring Adrian on 01926 424206 or email me on adrianlitvinoff@btinternet.com  Thanks again for your interest in Interplay.
